Care, continuity and dignity throughout life
Families supporting a person with an intellectual disability may face changing care needs over time. Access to dependable services, trained support and a safe environment can make a meaningful difference to individuals and their families. The Foundation's charitable objects include the establishment and operation of residential homes, rehabilitation centres and lifelong care institutions.
Our intended areas of work
- Promotion of safe and supportive residential care facilities.
- Rehabilitation and developmental support in collaboration with qualified professionals.
- Structured daily living, communication and social participation activities.
- Caregiver and family awareness and guidance.
- Respectful, person-centred support that safeguards individual dignity.
A responsible approach to care
Any residential or rehabilitation service will require suitable facilities, trained personnel, safeguarding procedures, professional oversight and all necessary permissions. The Foundation will seek to develop services in accordance with applicable standards and available resources.
Our goal: To work towards a future where the need for continuing support does not mean the loss of dignity, belonging or hope.
